I designed the logo and brand identity for the 11th World Recreational Fishing Conference (WRFC11), a global event bringing together researchers, managers, NGOs, industry leaders, and government representatives to advance recreational fisheries science. WRFC11 marked the first time the conference was hosted in Africa, aiming to elevate the profile of recreational fisheries across the continent.

The goal was to create a professional yet approachable visual identity that would resonate with a diverse, multidisciplinary audience. I developed an illustrated logo and a brand guide, drawing inspiration from the local fish species, ocean lines, and traditional beadwork to reflect both the scientific and cultural context of the conference.

This branding provided the Local Organising Committee with versatile, accessible tools to promote the conference globally and maintain a cohesive presence across platforms.
